The airstrike resulted in the deaths of seven aid workers. They were employed by a US-based humanitarian group called World Central Kitchen. Staff members from the three governments were among those killed.
The attack sparked widespread international condemnation. The three nations labeled the Israeli military authorities refusal to investigate as shameful. The incident has drawn global attention since April 2024.
