Israeli forces demolish Palestinian homes in occupied West Bank village

Israeli forces demolished at least 10 structures and uprooted more than 4,500 olive trees in Deir Ballot, located north of the occupied West Bank. Families report receiving only 10 minutes to pack their belongings before bulldozers arrived around 6 a.m. Residents state the operations occurred without prior notice and appear strategically linked to nearby illegal settlement outposts.

The report notes that settlers established one outpost just over a month ago and another over a year ago. Bulldozers are currently paving a road to connect these outposts. Palestinians describe the demolitions and construction as calculated efforts to seize land and dispossess residents near the separation wall and the 1967 borders.
